Privacy Policy
XPlayer2 · Effective 6 June 2026
XPlayer2 is built to respect your privacy completely. The app collects nothing, sends nothing, and stores nothing about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
We collect nothing
XPlayer2 does not collect, transmit, store, or process any personal data. Specifically, the app does not use:
- user accounts or sign-in;
- analytics, usage statistics, or crash/telemetry reporting;
- advertising or advertising identifiers;
- cookies, device fingerprinting, or tracking of any kind.
We run no servers
We operate no backend that receives, logs, or processes your activity. We never see what you watch, where you watch it from, or how you use the app. There is simply nowhere for your data to go.
Everything stays on your device
All processing happens locally on your device — including the AI 2D→3D conversion, which runs entirely on your device's neural cores (the NPU on Android, the Apple Neural Engine on iPhone). Nothing about the video you watch is uploaded anywhere by the app.
Connections you choose
XPlayer2 is a player: you decide what to open. Local files never leave your device. When you open a network stream or paste a link, your device connects directly to the source you chose — not through us. Those third-party sources and services have their own privacy practices, which are outside our control. The app adds no tracking to those requests.
Permissions
Any permissions the app requests (such as access to media or local files, and network access) exist solely to let you pick and play the videos you choose. They are never used to identify or track you.
App stores
The app is distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store. Those platforms may collect their own information (for example, download and aggregate statistics) under their privacy policies. That activity belongs to the stores, not to XPlayer2.
Children
Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children either.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
